Preparing for PIP light touch reviews
“Light touch reviews” were the government response to the real difficulties caused when PIP replaced DLA, and lifetime awards ceased to be.
Taking place every 10 years, a light touch review should do what it says on the tin. The first lot of eligible people with ongoing awards are now approaching a decade on PIP, and the DWP has finally come up with form AR2, which is certainly much shorter than the standard review form, and hopefully will prove straightforward in use.
