Is there one near me?
If your area isn’t listed here, and you would like to meet up with other people who have been affected by these conditions, why not start something up? All you need do is identify an accessible venue, preferably with parking and convenient public transport links (this could be a local pub, coffee shop or small function room) and decide on a date and time. We need to be kept fully informed to ensure you’re covered by our public liability insurance, so tell us all about it and we’ll contact people on our database and in the GAIN Facebook group to let them know!
LANCASHIRE & CUMBRIA
The Lancashire and Cumbria branch meet quarterly, on a Saturday afternoon at 2pm, at Bilsborrow Village Hall on the A6 north of Preston. The meetings provide a vehicle for mutual support and friendship amongst people who have been affected by these conditions. There is no subscription, raising money with raffles and bring and buy sales. A branch newsletter with dates of future meetings and other interesting articles about meetings and members’ experiences is published on the GAIN website and posted on Facebook. A postal copy is also sent to branch members.
